RSPB CONWY 20^TH ANNIVERSARY WRITING AND PUPPET THEATRE COMMISSION

Conwy Arts Trust worked with RSPB Conwy to provide artistic content for their 20th anniversary celebrations. Thanks to an Arts Council Wales research and development grant, we were able to run a run a multi-faceted project that included commissioning a new piece of writing from an emerging writer; commissioning Puppet Soup produce a 20 minute family theatre piece based on the new writing; book three artists to run workshops during the anniversary weekend and enable the Venue Cymru Young Creatives groups to visit the reserve for their regular sessions free of charge.

Gweithiodd Ymddiriedolaeth Celfyddydau Conwy gydag RSPB Conwy i ddarparu cynnwys artistig ar gyfer eu dathliadau 20 oed. Diolch i grant ymchwil a datblygu Cyngor Celfyddydau Cymru, roeddem wedi gallu cynnal prosiect aml-gyfrwng oedd yn cynnwys comisiynu darn newydd o waith ysgrifenedig gan awdur newydd; comisiynu sioe bypedau 20 munud i’r teulu yn seiliedig ar y darn ysgrifenedig newydd; archebu tri artist i gynnal gweithdai yn ystod y penwythnos a galluogi grwpiau Pobl Ifanc Greadigol Venue Cymru i ymweld â’r warchodfa ar gyfer eu sesiynau rheolaidd am ddim.
