Creations 2 Generations

A grant from Awards for All was the Launchpad of an exciting inter-generational project called ‘Creations 2 Generations’.

Two local artists, Wendy Couling and Andy Birch, worked with children who use the facilities at Ty Llywelyn Community Centre and residents of Tan Y Fron Extra Care Housing facility. This area is one of the top 10% most deprived areas in Wales.

The group took part in 10 arts sessions, working in a combination of photography, mixed media and graffiti based on the theme of ‘Welsh Legends’.

Grant gan Arian i Bawb oedd y sbardun ar gyfer lansio prosiect newydd a chyffrous yn pontio’r cenedlaethau, o'r enw ‘Creations2Generations’.

Bu dau artist lleol, Wendy Couling ac Andy Birch, yn gweithio gyda phlant oedd yn defnyddio cyfleusterau Canolfan Gymunedol Tŷ Llywelyn a phreswylwyr Tai Gofal Ychwanegol Tan y Fron. Mae’r ardal hon ymysg y 10% uchaf o'r ardaloedd mwyaf difreintiedig yng Nghymru.

Bu’r grŵp yn cymryd rhan mewn deg o sesiynau celfyddydol, gan weithio mewn amrywiaeth o feysydd fel ffotograffiaeth, cyfryngau cymysg a graffiti, oll ar thema ‘Chwedlau Cymru’.
