Older People’s Textile Project

The Older People’s Textile Project was launched thanks to money from the Laura Ashley Foundation, working in partnership with Cartrefi Conwy. Aimed at people who are at risk of isolation and loneliness, textile artist Alison Mercer worked with the group and introducing them to many different forms of textile art..

They also visited the Textile Gallery of the Whitworth Art Gallery, University of Manchester.

Prosiect Tecstilau Pobl Hŷn

Lansiwyd y Prosiect Tecstilau Pobl Hŷn gyda rhodd oddi wrth Sefydliad Laura Ashley, wrth weithio mewn partneriaeth â Chartrefi Conwy. Mae’r prosiect wedi’i dargedu at bobl sydd mewn risg o ynysiad ac unigrwydd, a gweithiodd yr artist tecstilau Alison Mercer gyda grŵp gan eu cyflwyno nhw i nifer o ffurfiau gwahanol o gelf tecstilau.

Mae’r grŵp hefyd wedi ymweld â'r Oriel Tecstilau yn Oriel Gelf Whitworth ym Mhrifysgol Manceinion.
