Oriel Colwyn is the unique gallery space giving a voice to photography in North Wales. It is dedicated to showcasing and engaging with all forms of photography as a means to enrich peoples lives and their creativity through this visual art form.

By working with local, national and international photographers as well as current and up and coming new talent it is North Wales’ hottest photography space.

It's work with the older people of Cartrefi Conwy was recognised with the prestigious Arts and Business Cymru award for Arts and Business in Health.

Oriel Colwyn holds free monthly LIGHTBOX workshops for young people aged between 12-16 years old.

Conwy Arts Trust helped fund elements of its new darkroom facility. This darkroom is key to enable the teaching of young minds in the foundations of the art and processes of photography.

By using the DONATE button above you will be helping enable Oriel Colwyn to expand workshops for young people, communities and artists within its darkroom.

A small donation of as little as £5 will buy a roll of Black and White film for use in a traditional analog camera whilst at the other end of the scale a larger donation of £55 will enable them to buy a box of 8x10 photographic paper.
