Now in its 16th year, take pART is a massive arts, literature and science festival for children and young people (but enjoyed by all from 0 to 100 years old!)  held yearly at Venue Cymru, Llandudno. It's run by Venue Cymru in conjunction with Conwy Arts Trust and the two day event usually attracts 10,000 visitors or more, with hundreds of arts practitioners from all over the UK coming to Venue Cymru to lead workshops and perform.

 Each year, the programme is carefully curated so there is something for everyone - ranging from clay model making with Aardman Animation, choreography workshops to coding classes. There's rock music sessions, circus skills and 'have a go' at ceramics, illustration and clog dancing. ​​​
