Are you between 7 and 12 years old? Do you love telling stories, acting, playing games and having fun?

Story Circle run two groups for Young People who are interested in Story and Storytelling, led by Gillian Brownson (Theatre Practitioner/Storyteller/Writer.) While Gillian runs the ‘Rainbows group’ with support from Billie Ingram, Sian Miriam (Performance Practitioner/Storyteller/Singer) plans and runs sessions for the ‘Reds’ group, with support from current Young Storyteller of the Year, Jacob Williams. The team also have dedicated and professional chaperones who know the children and who are on hand to help with any needs the Young People may have.

Story Circle members have told stories in Adain Avion (the Cultural Olympiad in Wales), in Llandudno’s Arts Festival LLAWN, at Llandudno Town Museum and RSPB Conwy. Both groups will be taking Part in a forthcoming project in Partnership with Mythstories Museum, to breath new life in Montgomery Folktales.

Both Story Circle groups meet once a month at Venue Cymru on a Saturday afternoon. Story Circle is FREE, thanks to support from Arts Council Wales and Llandudno Town Council.
